It is a unique privilege and huge responsibility to serve campers and their families each summer. 6 Mile has impacted the lives of campers and their families through the love of Christ by providing fun and unique camp opportunities centered in God’s creation.  

Our staff is composed of young men and women who are committed to growing in their relationship to Christ and to living out the Gospel, and interested in investing in the lives of the young people we serve.  We strive to create a safe environment, intentionally seek opportunities to develop relationships with our campers, and share Christ in every aspect of daily life.  It is an honor to be entrusted with the care and instruction of these children and teens and an incredible responsibility that we take very seriously.  Staff are constantly called on to sacrifice personal interests and put campers’ welfare and interest above their own.

Our summer staff is at the heart of our ministry and has a tremendous impact on the campers.  This is why we seek to hire the absolute best staff possible each summer. We prayerfully review each applicant and strive to place individuals in positions that match their various gifts and skill sets. Serving on 6 Mile staff can be tremendously rewarding through building relationships and personal spiritual growth; however, the biggest reward is found in pouring out oneself in service.
